MOTOR LICENSING AUTHORITIES OF ABIA STATE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE URGED TO COOPERATE WITH ABIA INSURANCE BROKERS LIMITED
Motor Licensing Authorities have been advised to cooperate and partner with Abia Insurance Brokers Limited in order to enhance and accelerate rapid increase in the State IGR.
This was made known to them recently during a meeting of all Motor Licensing Authorities of the 17 LGA’s of the State and delegates of Abia Insurance Brokers limited led by their General Manager Mrs. Ngozi Sunday-Chika at the Board conference room.
The Chairman/Chief Executive of the Board Elder Udochukwu Ogbonna FCA, who was ably represented by the Director of Indirect Taxes Mr. George Udonsi solicited for all MLA’s maximum cooperation and total compliance with Abia Insurance Brokers, stating that with effect from 1st August, 2015, Abia Insurance Brokers will handle all insurance related matters in the State and advised MLA’s to Cooperate with Abia Insurance when they roll out their scheme.
Contributing, Mrs. Ngozi Sunday-Chika, the General Manager of Abia Insurance Brokers Limited pleaded with MLA’s for their support and cooperation, stating that government is higly interested and commited to increasing her revenue base through issuing of Prove of Ownership Certificates (POC) to the prospective subscribers and reiterates that Abia Insurance and MLA’s are partners in progress.
In appreciation, Mr. Lebechi MLA Aba South LGA assured the General Manager of Abia Insurance of their cooperation and pledged absolute support in ensuring increase in the State IGR.
